⚙️ Torque Converter
Transfers engine power to the transmission via hydraulic fluid. If your car vibrates, feels sluggish when starting, or stalls when coming to a stop, this component could be the cause.
🧠 Valve Body
The "brain" of the system. It directs fluid to the correct clutches to change gears. A failure here typically causes harsh shifting, "banging" sounds, or delayed engagement.
💿 Clutch Packs
These allow the gears to connect and engage. If they are worn out, the transmission will "slip"—meaning the engine revs up, but the car doesn't move forward with the expected power.
🔌 Solenoids
Electronic valves that control oil flow. If they fail, the "Check Engine" light usually turns on, and the transmission might enter "limp mode" to protect itself.
⛽ Oil Pump
Generates the hydraulic pressure needed for the entire system to operate. Without proper pressure, the transmission simply won't respond and the vehicle won't move.
🪐 Planetary Gears
The physical set of gears that determine speed and direction. If these break, you will hear loud metallic grinding noises or lose specific gears entirely.
